My husband has a bad back. Any recommendations for the resort with the best beds?

Heavenly bed at the Swan!!! I think a question is does he do better with a soft or hard bed??? Most luxury type beds lean towards the soft/pillowtop type and might not be good if you need a firm mattress.

I have to agree with wuv tigger, a Heavenly bed at either the Swan or Dolphin hands down. I have a bad back and just love these beds.

I can help here! We just got back May 30th. I have 2 herniated disks and I hurt. I need a firm bed. We stayed at POFQ and they have new beds and they made me feel Great. In a matter of fact I never felt so good. If I am able to go back it will be back to POFQ... (we had a king bed room 5101 corner room right next to the food court. We loved that room)

Another vote for Heavenly Beds at the Swan/Dolphin. The pillows (at the Swan) were a little too fluffy for me, but I think you can ask for flatter ones from the front desk. I love the beds and the linens. Not to mention the location, service, pool, food. It's all good--very good.

I think in general, the WDW resorts have hard beds. If that's what you want, you'll be fine booking any WDW resort. Of the resorts we've stayed at, BCV seems to have the hardest beds, but we haven't stayed at all of them! My DH has a bad back too, and I have joint pain, and I have to say we pretty much hate the WDW mattresses. We are DVC members, so we put up with them.
