There are so many threads on the best bits of advice you got here on the Dis, or elsewhere that it piqued my curiosity.

What advice have you been given that you either are really glad you decided not to follow, or that you really wish you hadn't followed? Doesn't just have to be advice from the Dis - but from anywhere at all (including freinds, family, other online sources etc.)

I can't really answer that one just yet seeing as how I haven't gone yet - but I would be more then happy to answer my own question on Dec 19th :goodvibes

That waiting in line at Test Track is worth it. We really didn't think it was too great. Maybe for kids who aren't old enough to drive, it would be fun. :confused3

At MK, we asked a cast member if we could take our umbrella stroller on the train. She said no.

That was incorrect. You can take your stroller (folded up) on the train.

DH tells me we won't need those emergency ponchos--don't bring them.

30 minutes later I am soaked to the bone and not a happy camper.

That the split baths on the DCL were a must. We found we like the single bath better (see tag #2). :boat:

That Mission Space wouldn't bother me! I really didn't like it at all - what a disturbing sensation! I didn't get sick on MS, but got very claustrophobic and anxious.

I'm a roller coaster nut (love R&R, California Screamin', the faster and the more "upside down" the better!), and am not afraid of most rides. But I really hated MS!

I think that a lot advice isn't bad, it just doesn't fit with my family. We would never take an over the door holder because we don't have that much stuff in the bathroom. Last summer I brought the ponchos and it never rained. We should have left them in the room and dodged the rain when/if it came.

Wear a poncho on Kali River Rapids!!
I had one, but the DH and kids thought I looked ridiculous. Oh well, I was dry:)
