Backyard BBQ-how long?

Was wondering how long to plan on being at backyard bbq. Have ressies for it and then was planning on going back to MK for Wishes which I know we'll have plenty of time for, but was wondering if we'll be able to get back in time to see Spectro as well.

I am pretty sure it was over around 8:00 when we went last fall.

Whatever you do, just don't leave early. The best time is at the end, when the crowd thins out and the characters spend a ton of time dancing with the kids. The longest and best character interaction we have experienced! (Better than getting to Spectro, IMO.) Can you do Spectro a differnet night? The BBQ may tire you out!

Thanks for the info. We were initially going to watch Spectro on Sunday night and skip Wishes and then on Thursday go back to MK after the BBQ just to see wishes. Thursday is our last full day as we leave on Friday. DD's are 4 1/2yr and since we'll be in MK all day Sunday thought we might leave early before the parade and fireworks and then go see them Thursday as a way to end the trip. We'll probably play it by ear, we usually do!
