How long?
How fast?
Big Hill? Small Hill? Bumps? Turns?
Dark?

Just the backwards stuff. The wife figures she can handle all the forwards.

Oh so you spiral up. Cool.
Essentially yes. You start out by slowly going backwards down the hill and then make a sharp turn to left into the upwards helix.

I couldn't tell which way we were going when we were traveling backwards. The ride is awesome!

I totally lost track of which way we were going, since the backwards part is all in the dark, but I'd agree that it's only about 20 seconds. It's pretty much over by the time you can think "Oh hey, I'm going backwards! AHH!... Oh, wait, forewards again."

It is fairly short, but I gotta say... although I watched ride videos about 10 times beforehand, I wasn't aware you actually were going UP during this. Nope. To me it felt like I was being launched into outer space. Scared the living daylights out of me. That said, after I recovered from the shock, I really enjoyed the ride. :lmao:

What a great video...best I've seen yet!

I do have one question..and would someone PLEASE answer me honestly and not talk about how I should be surprised, etc?? I have yet to get a straight answer on this and would appreciate one. IS there a straight 8 story drop on this ride? I know my younger DD would love it, but if there's a drop that big she won't go on it. TIA.... :)

Regular stories or forced-perspective stories? ;)

No, there are no large drops on this ride. The biggest one, which isn't really a drop per se, is clearly visible from the outside of the mountain.

Okay..thanks for your answer but here's another one...I was just on another thread about this video when someone asked which was scarier, " the backwards part, or the drop at the end?"....now I'm confused :confused3

I know DD would love it, but not with a HUGE drop(she loves Splash Mountain)...we did Jurassic Park, and that drop was beyond what she would normally ride...

I have a question as well. My 5 year old is taller than most being 52 inches and will be able to ride this, however, can he handle it? :confused3 We took him on Dinosaur last year :scared1: only because he likes dinosaurs and it had been about 5-6 years since my DH and I rode it, so we forgot most of the ride. Well needless to say we felt so bad after that ride we bought him anything he wanted just to show our apologies to him. Let me know your honest opinion please.
Thanks.

There is no real comparison between EE and Dinosaur.

Only YOU can judge for your own children.
Best bet (and it would have saved you the cost of buying "anything he wanted" and a lot of tears, no doubt):
Is for YOU personally to ride ANY attraction (if there's any DOUBT) BEFORE taking your child, and judge for yourself.

It would be useless for us to say "Yes" or "No" or "My 5 year old LOVED it"
because we don't KNOW your child.

I personally LOVE this new attraction.
(So if you "HAVE TO" ride it a few times before your child rides... GREAT!!!) :thumbsup2
