Hi all!

DH and I are heading back this fall for our 15 year anniversary. We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour on our honeymoon and loved it. I’d like to surprise DH with another one - are any of the other ones worth the money? Thanks!

I’m going to be doing the Backstage Magic tour on my trip in May. I loved Keys to the Kingdom, and this one looks to be in a similar vein. It’s longer, and will be including lunch at Tiffins starting June 1. (Lunch is at Whispering Canyon up until then.) It looks like there is a ton of backstage time, including visits to the central shops and costuming. I can’t tell you yet if it’s worth the money, but based on reviews, I’d say it certainly will be.

Wow, that does look amazing. I’ll have to look more into it. We were only going for 7 days, though, and I feel like we would have to add another day just to do the tour! Not that I mind that....

We’ve done lots of the tours, some multiple times. Our favorite was wild Africa Trek. I am afraid of falling and was so proud of my self with the rope bridges over the crocodiles.
Another one we did multiple times was the Segway in Epcot world Showcase. It’s not available anymore. But there is one offered at ft wilderness.

We've done many of the tours over the years, and I have to say we've never been disappointed in any of them. Backstage Magic was the best, because it gave us such insight into operations at WDW, how complete and complicated they are (they have the capability to do just about anything needed to keep the place up and running). For shorter tours, Marceline to Magic Kingdom, the Magic of Steam Trains and Backstage Tails (at AK - I don't think it's offered anymore) stick out in my memory too. But again, we've found all the tours to be high quality, so I'd choose based on your interests and budget (time as well as money). If you're WDW veterans, taking a day from the parks for the Backstage Magic tour isn't necessarily a loss - you might appreciate the parks that much more afterwards!

Thanks! I have always wanted to do Africa Trek. Honestly, they all look so interesting to me. It’s good to hear you’ve had a good experience with them all. Thanks for the advice!

We did backstage magic on our honeymoon. It was my poor hubby's first day ever at Disney and it was a long one but AMAZING. We're doing Keys to the Kingdom this summer. Have fun!
