I have a silly question. I am thinking of taking The Backstage Magic Tour in July. Per the site it says:

Backstage Magic- MK, MGM, Epcot
M, T, W, Th, F, Sat
9:00AM
7 hrs
$199 per person
Lunch included
10% AP and DVC
Not Required or Included
16 years old or older
Start at Epcot Guest Relations window @ 8:45AM

A few questions:

Where does the tour end?
Since it is admission not required/included and the tour ends at 4pm, do you get the rest of the day in the park?
Any tips for this tour?

Thanks
Sandy

This is a wonderful tour! It is mostly backstage and covers MK, MGM and Epcot. As mentioned on the site the tour starts at Epcot Guest Relations and ends just outside Epcot in the bus parking area. It does not include admission and they will not allow you to leave the tour to stay in a park. You travel from place to place in a wonderfully air conditioned bus and they limit each tour to 20 participants.

Lunch is included and is at Mama Melrose. It is served family style from a set menu. The food is plentiful and delicious, even if the meal felt a bit rushed to keep us on schedule.

Tips for the tour.......wear comfortable shoes, even with the bus transportation there is still a great deal of walking.

Sit near the front of the bus so you can hear the guide while he or she is talking. There are a lot of questions and answers that happen on the bus.

Bring your camera. Even though you cannot take pictures backstage there are some great moments when you are on stage that are wonderful for picture taking.

Ask lots of questions and make the most out of this once in a lifetime experience of being backstage in places that most guests will never see.

Enjoy!

I appreciate the info, So than if I want to go into the park afterwards, I have to pay for a whole day it sounds like,

Thanks again,
Sandy

Yes,

If you want to visit a park after the tour you do have to pay for an entire day. Trust me on this one however, you are too tired to even think about walking through a park. It is a LONG day full of information. I needed to go and sit in the pool and digest it all after the tour. I used that night to have dinner in my resort and visit DTD and not do a park at all.

Have fun!
