i'm doing a bit better now.. hopefully by 10am PST tomorrow i'll be okay. if not, i may just opt to spend all day tomorrow at the hotel.

i did laundry, charged camera batteries and set up a car pickup for tomorrow morning. just need to pack and sleep.

i updated my blog to include pics of the ABD messenger bag finally. I'm about to post whatever of the itinerary I have for my full trip.

Brad, I hope your feeling better, i'm really looking forward to reading you blog about the trip, I saw your itenerary last night and I was drooling! And I hope everybody has a fantastic time on this first trip. I'm hoping to do the trip in a few years, so here's praying :worship: :worship: it will be around then!

It appears from the latest pic on Brad's web site that he has landed.
Palms tress along the highway were the sure sign.

Ooooo, my excitement keeps building. That trip report is really stoking it! Thanks for posting it. Please, please have it done by Monday as I fly out bright and early Tuesday morning (so early that I practically consider it Monday night...I am NOT a morning person).

The final part should be done by tomorrow, barring any unforeseen problems.

Thanks again Max for a "Totally Awesome" Trip report....:cool1:

We also would have accepted "Most Excellent." Probably because of my obsession to all things Bill and Ted, especially the show at Halloween Horror Nights, but that's a different discussion.

Ah, yes, one of the few shows where you can actually learn to swear in sign language!

Max,
Were you able to take photos at the studios, Walt's apartment & the Lily Belle? Or did the adventure guides have the only camera to capture those moments for you?

Just thought I would share what I know. I wasn't on the tour so Im not sure how it is on the tour but as far as photos go at either Walt's Apartment or the Lilly Belle. Normally, there is no photogrpahy allowed in the apartment to help keep it speical. They often will allow one single group photo. Now, again, this is how they treat a trip to the apartment normally. The tour may or may not be different.

As for the Lilly Belle, take all the photos you want. There is normally not any restrictions in there so I don't see why there would be any for the tour. Also, what I have found to be a nice picture.... There is an old time looking smokers jacket haning up. Toss it on for a quick pic =P Didn't hear that from me though.

Thanks again Max for the update! I can't wait to hear about the rest!

I asked Hack where our cameras were taken away. Here is what he emailed me (thank you, Hack):

Your cameras are taken at the following places:
- The Jim Henson Studios (for some of the tour, but not all.)
- Walt Disney Imagineering
- Backstage at The Indiana Jones Adventure
- Backstage at Disneyland Park
- Walt's Apartment and the Lilly Belle
- Backstage at Soarin' Over California

what?!? no cameras inside walt's apartment? but it's been photographed billions of times. and been on tv. hell, i know intimately what it looks like in there already.

owell.

my day is done for today. i actually got done more than i planned to. did a lot of star finding on the walk of fame, went to the hollywood museum at the max factor museum, did the kodak theatre tour and went to the petersen automative museum (which is completely awesome and i'm not even into cars).

foot was hating me earlier but seems to be ok now. we'll see how tomorrow goes at universal

Does anyone know if it's possible to pay the difference to upgrade the park hoppers they give you on the tour to annual passes? Thanks for the updates, keep them coming!

That was probably 1 of 5 funny moments in the show. 2007 was not a good year for B&T.

There is 1 group shot, so don't fret.

Have fun at Uni tomorrow! Take the Metro, it's the best (and cheapest) way to get there, especially if you're staying at the starting hotel.

Oh, and I would hit up T2: 3-D just for the fact that they have a really good Kimberly Duncan, even though the outside queue sucks.

Oh, and there's a really cool farmer's market/ outdoor shopping complex that has some really good places to eat. The name of the place escapes me at the moment, though. It has a trolley running through it, that much I do remember.

Actually, on our ticket it clearly says "Not upgradeable", so I guess not. But you can always try!
