Do you actually use one to scratch your back?

Earlier my son said to me "My back itches, do you have a backscratcher?" :confused3 I guess maybe he just remembers seeing the souvenier ones at WDW, I know he has never actually seen someone use one. I did, in fact, have one - a souvenier from the drink called a Backscratcher at the Poly, and he used it to scratch his back. :rotfl2: That is seriously the first time I have seen someone do that for an itch.

So, I am really wondering, is there anyone who regularly uses one?

 Yep, me! In fact, I just used it a few minutes ago. It gets to all those hard to reach places. I bought mine at Pier One Imports for $1.

:confused3 i use a wooden spoon does that count :confused3 and nobody cooks with it.

Yep. We have a couple bamboo ones. I guess we are itchy because they are used fairly often.

yep, I use a "scratch backer" all the time. I even have one for my kitties.. they love it.

It's a family joke... I said it backwards one day and started laughing, so we call it that now. I was in a WDW store once, calling to my mom "Hey I found a scratch backer" and some guy looked at me like I was nuts and said "It's a BACK scratcher!!!" well, duh!!!

My DD8 is my backscratcher.. :lmao: :lmao: I dont get it but she loves to scratch my back.. :confused3

That's really funny. My DS and I call it a 'backer scratcher'...he said it when he was little and it just stuck. When I can't find it, its always in his room. I think I just got an idea for his stocking. :thumbsup2

never used them and I dont know why, and thanks my back itches now

Well, I have a backscratcher you can borrow. :teeth:

Where I live we have two seasons, wet and dry. During the dry season your back doesn't just kind of itch, it is all out torture. I haven't had a backscratcher before and was forced to use spoons, chairs, walls, strangers, etc... but this past year I came across a nice backscratcher (it even has two back massager balls on the end of it) and I am looking forward to putting it to very good use.

I use an old knitting needle, nice and long!! I'll have to look for a WDW souvenier one.

Yes I do, with one from Poly (really).

Good drink BTW. I recommend it. :thumbsup2

I can reach my entire back. Don't need one. :thumbsup2

Myst

My girls bought their grandpa a wdw backscratcher on our first trip. He always stands in doorways and rubs his back against the door jam to itch it, so I guess they thought he needed one.

My dd4 just picked a purple backscratcher out as her souveneir at the Great Wolf Lodge last Sunday. She could have picked from a bunch of toys and other girly junk, but she chose a backscratcher :confused3 ???? On the bright side, I have gotten my back scratched about every 15 minutes since she got it! :thumbsup2

My stepdad uses one regularly and everyone knows NOT to touch it cuz Papa scratches everything with it. :scared:

Personally I use the corner of a wall if my hubby is not around.

I have a really nice wooden backscratcher sitting right here next to the computer. I bought it online as a gift for dh. It works so much better than anything else - and much better than the old one we had with a little hand on it! You can even "sharpen" it with sandpaper if needed.

Yep,, we have one too. Got it at tourist Dollar store in Orlando when we
went last May.

It was a dollar ,, one end is a little hand , the other is shoe horn ,,,
its plastic and we consider it a very good bargin for a buck.

We've got one - it is a wooden one that we got in the Morocco pavilion right after it opened. I use it daily and it's still going strong.

I know it's probably sacrilege to say this, but the WDW Mickey one that I got a couple of years ago for my son doesn't scratch worth a darn!!!

No, but I should have one...it's a pain when you can't reach that one spot that is itchy as heck...
