Backpacks and rides. What do you do with them?

Hi, I'm going in a little over a week for my first time. YAY! Anyway i plan on going on all the rides I can. I made light sling backpacks for the four of us women who are going. I was wondering for all those who like rides and carry backpacks what do you do with them? I assume some rides that are tame you can just put on the seat or take with you. But some like Splash Mountain and Everest are major rides you definately don't want your stuff getting lost on. What do you do with them? I may be going alone alot so I can't ask someone else to take my pack.
Also what are the 'tame' rides that I could bring it on?
Thanks a bunch, hopefully I got my question across! :ewok: :earsgirl:

We usually leave it in the stroller but I assume you don't have that option.
You could leave it in the stroller area in a corner somewhere but I would just recommend taking it on. Keep stuff you don't want wet in ziplock bags.
I don't know of any ride that you can't tuck it next to you of down by your feet.

Just put your legs through the straps and you are good to go .Even RnRRC is OK with this method .The chances of both legs coming out is slim to none.

I always have a backpack and have never lost it. I either hold it between my legs/feet, put it in the provided pouch on the ride itself, or looped one strap around an ankle, depending on what works on each ride. No problems yet and I've been doing this on coasters for about 20 years now. :)

Some rides, like Soarin' or Dinosaur, have specific places you can store a backpack (a mesh holder underneath or in front of the seat). For other tame rides - like POC, just put the backpack on the floor in front of you or on the seat beside you if there is room. For any active ride where there is no storage - I put my foot through one of the shoulder straps (I'm not wearing it on my back, of course :rolleyes2 ) and secure it with my leg. I've never lost anything this way - even on multiple rides on any of the coasters or on Tower of Terror.

Have fun!

:thumbsup2 I do this, never have had a problem, even on RnR and ToT.
