Backpack w/ lots of pockets for the parks???

I'm trying to find a small backpack or daypack to carry around the parks. I LOVE having lots of pockets, compartments, zippers, etc. I'm having a hard time finding a good one. Does anyone have any suggestions for one??

Well I just bought the Jansport Madison and its got a few different pockets- I like them too it helps to be organized. It also has a place for my cell phone. I don't think you're going to find a bag with a lot of pockets unless its bigger. I usually separate things into heavy duty ziplock bags- this helps.

Just remember all those pockets, copmpartments etc. will need to be opened an inspected at security when you enter the parks!

You could try the Bagallini messenger sling bag... tons of pockets, sort of like a backpack but more versatile IMHO. I loved it for our Disney trip!

Personally, I went with the Eagle Creek Milano as it can hold two water bottles (of larger size each) and doesn't have that wide strap which would be hot when I'll be down there (Jul/Aug)

Thanks guys! I forgot about the gate check. Does the Baggallini Messenger Sling have a pocket on the back?? It looks like it does, but I can't tell for sure.

I have been looking for a bag to carry for our trip in Sept/Oct and I have 2 so far that I am seriously considering. The Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Travel Shoulder Bag and the Overland Equipment Donner. Both I found on ebags.com (if you go through Mousesavers.com you get a discount). I think I am leaning towards the Overland bag because of its small size but still large enough to carry the essentials. Since it is just my DS and I I really don't want to be stuck carrying a huge backpack. Anyone have an opinion on either of these bags? BTW, the Baggallini Messenger loks really good too!

I love the bagallini! It does have a pocket on the back and it has become my favorite bag for trips out. It is just the right size to put my camera, camcorder and essentials like my wallet, antibacterial gel/wipes, a few diapers/wipes,makeup, pens, fan, autograph book, water bottle and the best part is the small zip on the strap where I can put my park tickets or my phone. Amazingly small considering what I can put in it. Used to bring a regular backpack but gave that up after getting the bagallini. It's a third of the size or even smaller and yet fits the same amount of stuff....kinda magical!

After much research I opted for the Bagallini Messenger and am looking forward to trying it on our next trip in October. I like that it's smaller than a backpack and has a wider strap - I can't stand straps digging into my shoulder.

I just bought a Baggallini and took it to DL for its first trip, and within the first hour it ripped. I am returning it for a refund and won't be buying another, that's for sure. It's too bad because the bag itself I really liked- all the places to put things, etc.

I might be more inclined to get another one and give it a try if the same thing hadn't happened 2 weeks before to a friend of mine with her Baggallini.

I got one right at Disney, it is great, pockets everywhere (and no the dont check every one at security). It has Happiest Celebration on Earth 2005 on it. Don't think you can get it inline tho.

I just ordered a purple one from the same place using the same codes!! How funny! I got the rip-stop nylon in purple. It's supposed to be water proof, too. I can't wait to get it!! There were so many people reccomending it on here. And so I went to ebags.com and looked at all the comments on the bag (there's like 300 something!) And alot of people there said they had used it for Disney World, other vacations, and loved it. So I went to shoebuy and used some codes to get a great discount. I'm so excited!!!

I love my Ameribag healthy bag backpack. It has lots of pockets and room for everything without being bulky. Onlu once in multiple trips have I been asked to open more than the main zipper at bag check and that was the summer after 9-11.
