backpack in parks

Last year we took snacks and sandwiches into the parks. I understand they are checking bags for security. Will they have a problem with you bringing food into the parks?

No problem. They aren't interested in any food items that you may choose to bring in.

No problem with small items. We always carry several bottles of frozen water for the kids. We've never been questioned.

Was there in December with our backpacks - no problems except just getting through the lines (can take a few minutes based on crowd size).

In december we used a backpack and half the people in line were were pulling out food and drinks out to them so security could see to the bottom of the bag.
