backpack cooler??

That's a great idea! Not sure how I would freeze the bottles though on a daily basis. We usually stay at a DVC studio and those little fridge's only have that little shelf to freeze things. In fact, I'm not sure if it even had that last time.

The ice machine is one you hold a bucket underneath too. Not one you can stick things in to keep cold.

So, how do you freeze your bottles overnight?

We always freeze two water bottles and put cold ones from the fridge in the rest of our cooler backpack. We stay in DVC studios, and our little freezer shelf works great to freeze our bottles. An overnight stay in there, and they are ready for us in the morning!

That's exactly what I would do. Basically at any given time, we have frozen water bottles at the ready to take with us. So when we take any out, we replace them right away. It truly is a lifesaver :thumbsup2

We have the picnic Zuma. Used it couple weeks ago. Put ice in zip lock freezer bag and bottled water. Kept the water really cool. Plenty of room in top section for gs change of clothes, wet wipes, sun screen and small things. Kept it mostly in bottom of stroller but when needed my dh or ds carried it and said it was fine. hth

We have this one and like it.

But just b/c you're staying offsite and don't have the dining plan doesn't mean you can't eat there. Not having the Plan gives you the freedom to order exactly what you want; if someone wants an appetizer for dinner, they can! If someone just wants a salad, go for it! Go ahead and share if you want!

We have this one too--- ours looks just a little different because it is 6 years old, but its been on many Disney trips and still going strong. Love it!

Thanks for all of the tips on backpack coolers-So I went to target today to purchase the igloo one and they do not have any.
I looked online and saw that they had some available , well they don't. They sent me to another target where it said they have them in stock and guess what??? They don't!!! I am so frustrated I even called corporate offices and they said sorry for your inconvenience.
Does anyone have any idea which other stores carry this cooler?
Now I am on a mission to find it,lol
Thank you so much

I just ordered two different backpack coolers from Walmart. We were thinking of using one on our trip to Disney after hearing about them on the disboards. One is an Igloo and looks the same as the one at Target, but it pink and black. It is called "Igloo Pink Ribbon Backpack" and a donation from the sale is made to breast cancer research. The other is called the "Ozark Trail 12-can Insulated Backpack." This one came in four different colors. Not sure how they compare in size and whatnot since we have not received them yet. Hope this helps!
