backlot tour? what is happening with it?

maybe i am totally out of the loop on this... but with the new stunt show bing built at MGM in the spot where the houses are, what is going to happen to the backlot tour? since it goes right through that area....

We went on it last week. OK, so it was totally boring now. We just wanted to get to the canyons. It goes something like this after the costume area (which now goes the opposite direction). "over here is some cast buildings, over there are some cast buildings, (my version) here are some cast member cars, there are some cast members, here is the cast member offices, here are the offices others use when here...blah blah blah. The house are gone, zippo, out of here. They have moved the boneyard stuff to various locations in the cast parking lots. If it wasn't for the canyon, this would be a waste of time. I personally did not find this version interesting at all, but guess they had to do what they had to do. They would not tell you any info on the new attraction, only that they didn't know much to tell yet!! They should read these boards.

I thought this attraction had really gone downhill when we saw it in May. There wasn't much to see then, so I don't think this is much of a change. Seeing facades from TV shows that ended almost ten years ago wasn't too exciting (Though it was pretty neat when it first opeend). Hopefully the new show will be a much better use of space!
