Backlot Canteen ?

I just noticed this on Deb's site as a new menu. Has anyone been here yet? I am guessing it is new because I have never seen it at MGM. I love frozen drinks so I am wondering what it is. Is it just a place to get drinks to go? Anyone?

I have a friend that is there right now and I asked her to check this out as I usually frequent the Margarita cart in Mexico for the great Fiesta Margaritas but hoping there will be another option as well.

Where in MGM is this wonderful place?

Is it indoors?

Is it a full service Bar?

Do they have seats/stools?

Many hours sitting at Tune-In remembering the wondeful times spent at Catwalk.

ok AFTER CHATTING WITH MY FRIEND TODAY ABOUT THE BACKLOT CANTEEN. She said they serve margaritas just like in Mexico and they may in fact have a full service bar.

She said she enjoyed a frozen before going into the backlot tour. She also said it is located near the Playground (Honey I shrunk the kids???) Sorry I don't rememer the real name.
