Well, it is official our trip is over. I guess we have to start planning the next one!!!
We had a fabulous time. Our villa in Davenport was beautiful and the pool was kept so steamy. I will always stay in a villa from now on, the convience is great.
The weather was on the cooler side but no complaints there was no SNOW.
We went from Feb 6-12. The Monday at MK was CRAZY!!!!! It was so jammed packed. Between the superbowlers, cheerleaders and the mardi gra-ers, we didn't stand a chance. The rest of the week was good crowd numbers.
We discovered the photopass. We didn't know what it was at first but once we figured it out, we held onto our pass and had it swiped everytime a CM took a pic. When I got home I entered our pass number and "voila". There were my pics (minus one, I am enquiring into it). You can add borders and captions to them as well. They are very expensive to purchase tho. They can be copyed into your own files, hint hint.
All the rides were awesome, except for Stitch. My ds (6) loves Lilo and Stitch so I took him to see it. It was all in the dark and frankly not very entertaining. He was not impressed with it. I would not recommend it to anyone.
The princess breakfast at Epcot was great. I have read mixed reviews about this. Our food was hot, abundant and we did not wait for the princesses at all. Mulan, Snow white, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Jasmine and Belle were all great with my dd (3). The walk there is long tho. 1900 Park Fare was also great, food was very good and the characters were also excellent. This time I was disappointed with Chef Mickeys, we has a very late PS, which had something to do with it. The food wasn't great and the ususal happy atmosphere was lacking. Lunch at the Castle was fabulous. The food and the sevice was superiour.
Turtle talk with Crush was awesome. The kids loved it and they get to sit right up front. Have them think of a question to ask Crush tho before hand as it is a interactive show. A must see.
All in all, I loved our trip and was very sad to leave. I can't wait for the next one. Thanks to the DIS board for all the great tips.
Have a magical day!!!!!
