We arrived home yesterday from our 15 night trip. Will be doing a trip report and dining report in due course with pics.

HIGHS

- DD was a great age/size for this trip - age 6 3/4 and 52 inches. She went on and loved the bigger rides this time like rockin rollercoaster and loved all the interactive stuff - she did every Agent P adventure at Epcot and all the sorcerers at MK. But she still enjoyed BBB/mermaid makeover and all the character meals.

- we were able to get into new fantasyland twice and have lunch at Be our guest. I thought we would just miss it so was super excited to be able to do it.

- crowds/weather. Suited us down to the ground. Warm but not too hot so could get lots done. I used touring plans best park guide and found it spot on. We were in parks at or before opening most days and also used fast pass. Can't recall queuing more than 5 mins for anything.

- food. We tried deluxe ddp this time and did almost all the character meals, lots of signatures and the three dinner shows. Had some great meals.

- photopass + used for the first time and definitely got our money's worth. At the character meals where they normally try to sell you the photo package you just show your card and they give it to you.

- Art of animation. Had one night in a little mermaid room. DD loved this - the resort theming was fantastic.

- halloween at OKW. DD loved the trick or treating. They had a map with 12 stops. At each stop a cm got them to do a trick eg dance or throw a ball then they got a treat. At the end she met donald and daisy. Lasted about an hour and very well organised.

- DIS meets - nice to put faces to names.

LOWS

- we moved room after the first night as we were allocated block 31 and ground floor. I wanted nearer turtle pond - new room block 43 and top floor was perfect. Would call or email to specify in future (had just said turtle pond preference)

- No water parks. We had a few cooler days due to hurricane sandy and didn't manage to make it to either in the end.

- Needed another week! We just did disney this time and still have lots we didn''t manage to fit in. We also just missed the xmas decorations.

Booooo! To being at home again ;)

Looking forward to your trip report.

Thanks for the "highs and lows" - I'd be gutted if I "just" missed the Christmas decorations as well.

Hi we are going back on Saturday. Really excited we plan to have a more relaxed trip this time- great to hear the weather and crowds are good.
I am really looking forward to the F&W and am tempted to do a discovery cove day without the swim great price of 69 dollars each.

Hope the jet lag isn't too bad for you

Will you being do a TR? we are visiting all of the Character meals in Jan/Feb and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Sounds like you all had a great time.
Looking forward to your trippie :goodvibes

Glad you enjoyed the trip, agree it is a great time of year to go but shame you missed the Xmas decorations.

We used photopass+ last trip also and would definitely use it again as we have kids who like to do the character meals and rides and it was great to get so many more photos than usual.

Sounds great, looking forward to a trip report :thumbsup2

Sounds brilliant!!! Can't wait for your trippie! Loved your last ones so really looking forward to hearing about FLE and the character meals in particular :goodvibes

Great trip- I think it is great to take dd at all different ages as you see the parks in so many different ways :goodvibes

Welcome home :wave2: It sounds like you had a great trip. Thanks for sharing your highs and lows!

sounds wonderful!!!!

yes, two weeks just isn't enough...
3 weeks is needed at least....and that's just for us to enjoy all of disney...

do you think that deluxe dining is the way to go?
