Back from another wonderful trip - all highs and very few lows! We stayed in Hotel Cheyenne from Sunday evening and left early Friday morning.
Highs - kids are older and able to go about together in groups which was great because some are more adventuresome than others!
It was very busy all week but it got quieter in both parks in the evening so that we got on everything we wanted by pacing ourselves and taking time out during the middle of the day when it was busiest. We found the playground in Frontierland a great place for a picnic and a rest for the mums!
Kids hadnt much interest in queuing to meet characters and were happy with the few they met in the hotel in the morning.
Cafe Mickey is great for meeting characters also, and a few pizzas between us all didnt break the bank.
RSTransports - cant praise them enough!
Minnie Club (I think that was the name of it) in Disney Hotel for smallies! Only found it by chance, wanderring around having a peek - its beside pool and spa and is a fab play area for little ones. Dont know about terms and conditions for its use - my sister sat in area outside in hall while her two had a fab time playing!
Captain Eo!!! Why isnt it advertised more? Only found it by chance - kids loved it!
La Cantina buffet very good, loads of salads and enough choices even for the nuggets and chips members of our group!
Casino in railway station ownbrand 'natural' ready salted flavour crisps - e1.30 for big 200g bag - yummy and addictive!!
Weather was amazing - Monday was quite cold but it got warmer and warmer as week went on, by yesterday it was 22C and fab. Cold morning and evening but dry and sunny.
Lows - nothing really, just more crowded than we expected but managable.
Cant say I noticed a huge amount of people smoking either.
Prices for food for kids are mad! Snack prices mad!!
My SIL thought she'd lost her passport so had a mad panic of a halfhour til she found it in the bottom of her case when she was CONVINCED she had it in her handbag!!!!
Had a wonderful time and lots of Disney magic and cant wait to go back again!
