Well overall we had a very nice visit down to WDW last week. We stayed in a studio at SSR in Congress Park. We were in the very last building before you walk the path to DTD and had a nice DTD view. No problems at all with the room.

It was hot but what do you expect in July. Crowds were medium to large. There were a lot of Brazilian tour groups and unfortunately we seemed to be hitting the parks on the same days they were. They were well behaved except I did get annoyed at MK one morning. The Main Street singers were doing their "Good Morning" song and the BTG decided to do one of their chants at the same time, right next to where the singers were trying to sing.

Buses were so-so. It seemed like sometimes we just had bad luck. I remember one morning we were trying to get to AK and it took a long time for an AK bus to show up while at the same time 2-3 Epcot and MK buses appeared.

Overall this was good trip. Now it's time to start planning for our December trip :goodvibes.

What is it with those Brazilian tour groups? No other country has such a presence. Glad your trip was good overall! We have only stayed at SSR once, and has similar issues with the buses as you did.

:thumbsup2 We quite enjoyed our stay at SSR in May! We were in the Grandstand section and truely liked it. We found the buses were quite efficient when we were there. We have hit those Brazilian Tour Groups on a couple of our trips. They were there last July too. They are REALLY loud and the constant chanting gets old in a hurry - esp. if you are trapped next to them in an inside que line! They also gobble up all of the fast passes and when they return as a large group they throw off the stand-by wait times. I don't know why they find it necessary to be so obnoxious.
