Back-up plans for CRT?

Anyone else worried about getting CRT and making back-up plans just in case? What is your alternative to CRT breakfast?

-CRT lunch? Is this still a good option if you're doing CRT dinner on a different night?

-PSB or were you planning to do both so already had this one?

-1900 Park Fare dinner?

-another character meal?

-skip it and do counter service instead?

-eat offsite cause if you can't get CRT then you aren't giving WDW your money at all that morningl?

-other choice not listed?

It really depends on your priorities. Which is more important. Eating with Cindarella, or eating in the castle, or is it just eating with a character meal and you don't care which one. My answer would differ depending.
What else do you already have. Are you on the meal plan or paying out of pocket. Again my answer would differ.

The important thing is to have a backup plan so in case you get shut out, you'll get something.

I'm not sure what I'm doing which is why I'm asking what other's are doing in their situation or if I'm crazy to even think about it (or am jinxing myself by not just being confident I will get CRT ) We're doing CRT dinner our first night and our other character meals are PSB dinner & Chef Mickey's breakfast. I can try for CRT 3 different mornings and switch around CM or LTT lunch to make it work for whichever morning I get but I get stuck on what if we don't get it.

Originally my back-up plan was switch PSB to an early lunch to replace it and do 1900 PF for dinner that night which is our last one. Now I'm questioning if CRT lunch would be a better back-up plan or if it's too much like the dinner and it will seem like "oh we're eating there AGAIN ". Edited to add DD's favorite is Aurora so maybe lunch would be better to make sure we see her either there or PSB or twice would be good too.

I ruled out 1900 PF breakfast since DD is doing the tea later in the week as her b-day special treat. I'd like to do CP just for the breakfast lasagna but DD saw pics and she's afraid of those characters and says they're too babyish and since we aren't trying to get in at 8:00 (too early for us) I ruled that out.

Still have a few weeks to think about it. Any thoughts about this or anyone want to share your back-up plan?

I didn't get CRT for any meal on any day of our stay - made our plans about 86 days out. I did get Cindy's feast at 1900 Park Fair - and I'm telling myself that will be great too, especially since my DH and DS will like buffet better than preplated meal...maybe next year...

If not CRT breakfast, then try the lunch, if not
I would say 1900 Park Faire
We could not get CRT in May but 1900 was wonderful. Very relaxed, pretty good food, Cindy and PC were wonderful! I think most little (and big) girls would rate meeting Cindy over eating in the castle.
