I have had a wonderful summer. We spent 2 and a half weeks in Hawaii, got home on a Friday, did the laundry, went to work on a Monday and had foot surgery the next day. By the time Friday rolls around I will have been out of work just about a month after surgery. Outside of the first post op week, I have enjoyed my time home. I actually like cleaning the house, working in the yard, etc. Of course I wasn't able to mow the lawn until last week so I let my DH and DS;s do it ( 
) and I spent my time enjoying the pool. Don't get me wrong, I love my job, I am certainly not overworked (as far as nursing goes) but I would love to work from October until June. Oh well.
