We are the same and pass on it and sad bttf is gone and even sadder is we only got to ride it once before they closed it

BTTF was fun but too rough for me. The Simpsons is hilarious and a favorite of ours. I can't wait to see the expansion.

I hated BTTF. Made me soooooooooooooooo sick.

The Simpson ride does that for me. DH said he had never seen anyone turn that many shades of green when I came off!!

Won`t go back on it again.

If you ever do go back on it, just close your eyes. The vast majority of the motion is in your mind from watching the screen.

When I get to sit in front, I actually have fun looking out the side of the "vehicle" at the rest of the people in that amphitheater-type place. Just like I look around during Soarin' if I go on it when my inner ear is more sensitive and I start feeling funny. Looking around, not looking at the movie that's trying to trick my brain, works incredibly well.

And it's fun to see how it's working, in a geeky techy sort of way. :)

My boys LOVE the BTTF movies, we watch them on the movie channels all the time, they would have loved that ride. 11 year old may have been on it once when he was little, 7 yr old never knew it. We like the Simpsons, it's fine, but we don't watch the show that much. BTTF and Jaws were my DH and my favorite rides... :(

love the bttf movies but love the simpsons more.

bttf ride tended to be a rough jerk ride the last few years it was operating.

i started to avoid that ride the last year it was open.
i didn't feel so good after riding it.

simpsons ride i do over and over.

Could not ride Simpsons a few years ago without shutting my eyes 1/3 of the way through. Last year I discovered Bonine, about 1/2 a pill a day did the trick. Made it all the way through, could not believe what I missed.

Same was true for Despicable Me - the only way I make it through the entire experience with eyes wide open was the Bonine.

I remember being surprised to see the Doc appearing for photos next to the DeLorean well after his ride closed. I guess he got over it somehow. ;)

Back to the Future was only bumpy near the end when they stopped taking care of it. I miss that ride as it was my favorite ride ever. Simpsons is just not the same. I wish they could somehow bring back to the future back, even though I know it will never happen. Unless they decided to do a reboot of the movie series in the future.

We got a pick of doc last year too and one year I was wearing a pair of dale jr tennis shoes and he kept saying 88 was his favorite number and I had one of those what is he talking about moments until I thought about it for a minute lol

We ran into a great Doc on our last trip. I told him that I wish the ride was still in the park. He said his ride is still there....its just in the past. :)

He also told me I look like his friend Mr. Strickland (I'm bald). I then called him a slacker. My kids loved that. :thumbsup2

I loved BTTF when it first opened, but as other have mentioned, it didn't age well. For the last few years it was open, I started avoiding it because it had become to rough.

As for the Simpsons Ride, I love it. Hopefully it doesn't go down the same road to roughness that BTTF did.
