And now there's very cut & dry signage that says "if you have the following conditions, you should not ride". Afterall, they dont know how you will be affected by the ride, but they know how it operates.

My husband got really sick on BTTF. A lot of motion going on in there.

Myself and my DS (the coaster kid who doesn't get sick on anything) got very sick on BTTF, although we can do Star Tours and SW's Wild Arctic without a problem. It wasn't so much the shaking on BTTF, but the overall temp. of the ride and queue area which we found to be EXTREMELY warm, that combined with the shaking and motion did us in.

If the new Jimmy Neutron car is the same as BTTF (in mechanics, design etc), is it just as rough? We loved HB Jetsons ride. Is Neutron that much rougher then the old Jetson ride?

Jimmy Neutron is not as rough as BTTF. Neutron has similar mechanics as the old HB ride.

The Hanna-Barbera simulators got a complete mechanical overhaul - a good idea after a thirteen-year run! - new theming on the vehicles, and a complete replacement of the show control electronics... but the motion bases themselves are exactly the same as in the Hanna-Barbera days.

BTTF, which opened a year after HB, also uses the same ride hardware, except the BTTF bases have larger hydraulic valves installed so they have a bit more power. (Whether they are using that power for good or evil is a topic for debate. )

As for whether the Jimmy Neutron ride is bumpier than Hanna B., well... both shows were done by the same film director, and the same motion programmer. (BTTF was done by other folks, so make of that what you will.) So the Neutron ride should be pretty equivalent to Hanna Barbera, I would think. Whether you liked or disliked Hanna Barbera, you'll probably feel the same about Neutron.
