So after getting all excited about being able to use my mums discount they have now put a blackout on family and friends unless the agent is going as well :(

Was gutted as its been a really long year for us ( both sister- in law and dad both had tumours within 2 months if each other , my sister in laws was a brain tumour and benign but dads was a whopping 7.5 lb and he ended up losing his kidney as well )
Along with hubbie being made redundant from his new job plus our landlord selling our house so we had to move in with our parents a trip back "home" as we call it has been the only thing that has kept us going

We have worked and scrimped and budgeted and worked out we could do a coach trip down with Gold crest but there are 2 options

1 is a 3 night trip staying at Newport bay for may half term or easter so I get EMH etc and 2 full days in the park

2 is a 4 night stay at Radisson Blu with still only 2 days in park and a sightseeing tour round paris

I haven't stayed at either so am trying to weigh up which will be best for us - the kids are going to be 13 ands 17 :scared1: Yikes how did that happen so long days and queuing for characters etc isn't a priority
There isn't much difference in price either I just am not sure what would be best for us

Any advice or thoughts much appreciated :)

What a tough time you guys have had. I hope everyone is on the mend and that you are over the worst of it all.

I would be inclined to do the 4 days as it would give you a chance to relax more and have a wee escape.

Sorry to hear you have had such a rough time. I would do the four night stay have stayed at the raddison twice its a lovely hotel very peaceful and laid back no big rush for breakfast. Both times we have stayed there had no complaints and would definately go back

Sorry to hear your news! I too vote for 4 days and with older more sophisticated. ;-) children the offsite hotel with trip to Paris could really work well. Best of luck with your planning x
