Hi, Returning to Universal for Six Days; July 5 to July 10. Will be staying at PBR in a Deluxe room only available with Fan Club Discount at $ 232 per night (ouch) No Entertainment or FAN Club rates at Hard Rock or Royal Pacific. Standard room at Royal Pacific was at $ 219 per night.


Anyhow, We have not stayed at the PBR since 2000 and was wondering what has changed since then and any recomendations anyone had. We have a loews first card so the first question at check-in will be an upgrade to club-room.

Another question would be about tickets, I plan on purchasing 5 days for two, can these purchased using the Fan Club Discount.

Any Other tips would be appreciated such as room location, Heart Healthy menu items, and general tips about the parks. I do plan on getting 999,999 on MIB this time after reading the tips.

By the way my house was just buzzed by the blue angels, they are performing at Jones beach and will be based at the local airport for the show.

I can only answer one of your questions and that is that there are no further discounts on the Bonus Pass(5 days for 2.)

Only hint there:
#2676 has the biggest balcony overlooking Villa Pool. It's approx. 2.6 miles from Club Lounge (give or take a few hundred yards)

Club Staff will wait on you hand & foot. Yves never let me out of my seat to fetch anything on my own.
I really liked that muchly.

Forget the 100k bonus on MIB and go for the sensors on the bug. Lock in on one and keep it there. I never got less than 100k doing that.
PBH now has the club room where they used to have concierge.
