Back to the Beach! (BCV, that is!)

Called member services today. We're going back to the BCV in Feb. 05, and the inlaws want to join us now. So I upgraded from a 1BR to 2BR, paying cash for a couple of weekend nights and have points to spare! MS was wonderful. I can see why some people pay cash for weekend nights. Since the inlaws want to help out this time, they'll probably pay for the two cash nights and I'll have more points left over than if we stayed in a one bedroom.

Also, just back from CR on the AP discount and had a blast!
E Rides till 2am Monday night and 1am Wednesday! Beat the crowds and the heat...

Used the DVC discount twice at both the Concourse Steakhouse and Kona Cafe (one of our favorites!). Met someone at Kona Cafe who's a DVC member and enlightened him to the discount there! Hey, he should have bought me a Mai Tai at least!

Yes, we're from N.O. This will be our 6th Mardi Gras in a row. It's a great time to go. The kids are out of school and the parks are usually not too crowded. And it's not too hot either.

skeelooch, the 2BR was $420 per night. I called the WDW reservation line just to check prices and it was $560, so that's 25% discount off the public rate.
