Well it's that time again, another new school year!, all the name labels are sewn, uniform's all hanging up ready to go, new shoes are labelled, PE kits are already in the boot of the car, and luches are in the fridge.......Gosh I can't believe where the time goes, my DD's are growing up soooo fast, it only seem's like yesterday that we we're preparing for their 1st school day :sad1:
And now their starting Y5 & Y4

Dd3 has her home visit tomorrow afternoon, and then i will be given a date+start time for her for nursery.

Time goes so quickly..:sad2:
my days are now over of sewing name labels in and all the other things that have to be done,
last one has been through school, and 1 yr of 6th form and now is job hunting!

:scared1: :scared1: my dd11 has started big school - she is exhausted bless her.

It is my DS first day at secondary school today I thnik I am more nervous then him I have been up since five , good luck to any one starting school today

My youngest DD is going back to school today too. I can't believe that she is starting her final year - the years have just flown by

:wizard: Good Luck to all the kids going back to school

My ds5 went back last Thursday so I've had a week to get used to only having dd2 and I still haven't! It's so quiet.

Towards the end of the holidays, all they did all day long was argue! I remember what it's like hearing birds singing, and the person at the other end of the phone! :lmao:

My youngest DD started at new school last Thursday and has started her GCSE :)
So new uniform etc... She looks very smart in her blazer and tie.

DW went back last Tuesday due to two teacher days :(

My DD goes back to school tomorrow and will be in Y10 starting GCSE years :scared1: I've sorted out the new bits of uniform she needed but two of her courses require a special GCSE t-shirt for sports and GCSE apron for food tech which you can only buy from school so will have to give her the money to buy them direct! Can't believe she only has two more years of school. I did think on the plus side that we would soon be able to avoid the school holiday hike in holiday prices but unfortunately DD wants to work with young children, probably in a school environment, so could be stuck with inflated prices for a while longer until she no longer wants to holiday with mum and dad!

Labels done hoorah! DD started in Y3 today - Junior school :-(
She was so grown up. They get to have a bag in Y3 instead of just a book bag and she didn't have to line up outside the classroom door.
They went up onto the junior playground which is elevated so, us parents had to group at the steps.
I can't wait to pick her up in and hour or so.

Here's a picture of here ready to go with her HSM bag of course and one with the twins.

Ready for Y3. Williams facial expression = mum not another flipping picture!

My 2 daughters went back yesterday - Yrs 3 and 1. The school is like a building site - major renovations going on which are scheduled to last until February at least.:scared1:

Half of the playground is a makeshift car park which means that no ball games are allowed, the whole school are now going in and coming out of the same entrance and it is complete pandemonium!

My DS goes back today (Year 11 - GCSE year!) and it's been my easiest "Back To School" build-up ever as he's done all his own washing/ironing and general sorting out of stuff! :thumbsup2 All I've had to do is order a few things from M&S online, name 5 white shirts and 2 pairs of trousers - peasy!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
