Back to school in 11 days!

Students start in 14. I can't believe my summer is over.

Wow, your schools start early. Ours don't start until the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Ours starts Aug 2nd - only 12 days. Teachers go back on Monday. I've got to be up there on Tuesday getting all the PTO stuff done. Wow! This summer went fast!

Our kids start on the 14th, I have to be back on the 8th.

it's the middle of summer, i can't beleive some schools are going back already.

We have been out since mid May and the kids are due back Aug 9.

Shhhh...... don't talk about it and maybe the final days of summer will last longer. I don't want to think about going back yet, but for me it is in about 2 weeks.

Mine start back the 4th - but the GOOD part is, they get a week off in OCT., which has my mind drifting to Disney planning....

We will be in WDW 23-29, then will be one week to recoperate. Teachers/Staff return Aug. 7, and students return 21st.

Oh, geez, I didn't count the DAYS. I just realized yesterday that I've only got a little over 2 weeks to go...........

Let's see, 16 days until I go back, 24 for the students still.

I don't think I could live anywhere where summer is over and school back in session before Labor Day.

I guess it is what you are used to but to me summer vacation is off July and August.

Lots of parents here hate it -but there is not a whole lot we can do.
It has something to do with trying to get a whole semester in (including finals) before Christmas Break.
They also get a fall break -so that is kind of cool.
It is the same amount of days off -just arranged differently.

Yep....August 4th start day here. I have to officially go back on the 31st of July but I have already had a managers meeting this past Wednesday and I have to get my first grocery order in by this Monday. I have a huge stack of new procedures and new recipes and tons of new paperwork that we have to follow so I know I will spend some time before the 31st so I can try to get an understanding of what all is changing.

Dd is ready for school to start...has been since the day after school got out!!!! She will be at my school this year so she is extra excited!!
