Hello all! I am SOOOOO excited. We're all booked and paid in full for a 7 night stay in the World!
I just solidified all our dining choices this morning! Only 33 more days to go! Before I go any further.... Let me introduce to you the cast! Here goes.....Me: 29, sahm to 3 beautiful boys who you'll meet in a minute. DISNEY FANATIC!!! I drive my family nuts by talking about all things Disney! Don't you dare use the word Universal at our house! Stays pretty busy raising these kiddos and doesn't have time for much else! I'm a den leader for cub scouts and spend most of my free time volunteering at their schools! So looking forward to this trip. I need a vacation and a Mickey fix!
Dh: 29, (but he'll turn 30 before I do!
) Not AS obssessed as I am about disney.... but he's getting there. I'm rubbing off on him! He worked hard to pay for the trip and I am forever grateful that he's able to let me stay home and be the main breadwinner for our family! He's a General Contractor by trade and is VERY busy. He's looking forward to a vacation. He especially wants to go to the waterpark and eat at Fulton's crab house!Ds: 8, In 3rd grade. Is just a really sweet kid. Every teacher's pet! Loves animals, Science and Social Studies. looking forward to going back to Animal Kingdom. He wants to be a vet when he grows up and work there. He's pretty much a rule follower.... doesn't test his Mom and Dad too terribly much. Very responsible for an 8 year old.... I think.
Ds: 6, Pretty much polar oppisite of his brother. LOL. Very sweet kid. Loves to snuggle.... but has a bit of a wild streak. I'm sure he gets that from his father.... tee hee. Pushes the limits a bit at times.... just to see what he can get away with. VERY HONEST is this kid.... He once told a gentleman that was smoking that "your lungs are turning all black and you're gonna die someday because of it." Talk about MORTIFIED!!!! I quickly apologized and scooted him out of there as quick as can be! He's tall enough to ride RRC and SM this trip.... so he's excited!
ds: 3, So So cute this kid..... and boy is he a talker! He has been in love with disney since we went when he was 18 months old. Talks about Buzz Light year non stop. He'll be able to ride some things too that he couldn't before. For once.. we'll all be able to be on the same raft on Kali!
So that's the cast.....Here's the exciting part...... The kids don't know we're going in January. They know that we're planning a trip for "sometime next year," but they have no idea that we're going so soon. It would've been too hard to plan around them... so I've been able to pretty much openly plan the trip... they just think it's for a lot later in the year. I had mentioned to them about fall break or something. I think I'll stop here for now.... Much more to follow.... Where are we staying? When exactly are we going? How are we getting there? and What will we eat? We'll figure it all out in the next post!
