My wife and I will be on the January 11 RCCL Mariner of the Seas returning to Port Canaveral on January 18 and then immediately leaving on the January 18 4-day Disney Wonder. We assume that this will be a simple transfer since both cruises are out of Port Canaveral but we have never done back-to-back cruises before and we have never seen the RCCL terminal (although we have been on previous cruises on both the Magic and the Wonder. Has anyone else done this before. Do you know of any possible difficulties?:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

the one thing I would want to check on if it was me, is customs. Are you parking at the port? If so, then you can put your purchases in your trunk, and you shouldn't have a problem. this would be one thing to look into.

DH and I did "almost" back-to-back cruises in January. We did a 4-night Carnival Fantasy cruise, from Sunday - Thursday, then Saturday we got on the Disney Magic (Western). It was kind of nice having a couple days in between to get laundry done, do some local sightseeing, etc.

The Fantasy cruise we stayed at the Radisson so took their shuttle to/from the ship. The Magic we parked at the port.

I must say, I don't know that we would do this again as the last couple days on the Magic I was tired of cruising, ready to go home. :( Maybe back-to-back Wonder (3/4 nights) cruises would be nice, or a couple 4-night cruises, but 11 nights of cruising was just a couple nights too many for me.

I hope you enjoy your back-to-back cruises though!! :sunny:
