There are parties on Nov 20 and Nov 21. The thursday and friday before thanksgiving. Also noticed that the only part during Thanksgiving week is on Friday, no tuesday or thursday parties.

1. Is that pretty much the same year to year to have them back to back on that thursday and friday before thanksgiving?

2. Anyone ever done back to back MVMCP's? I would like to hear some thoughts on your experience if you have.

3. Any thoughts on why MK does not offer more parties during thanksgiving week? ... my guess is not need to entice people to the parks during such a busy week.

I was thinking about booking a stay for next year with just doing these two parties back to back. I think two parties would give you enough time to do a good mix of party-only events, characters and low-wait attractions. Plus it would give you (theoretically) two 8hr magic kingdom days for ~$120 a person compared to $200 for a normal 2-day ticket.

~ MVMCP traditionally is on Thursday AND Friday from November through December and dark during Thanksgiving week.

~ We did back to back on December 5th and 6th last year because we needed to sit in a prime location for the parade for the first party. We also had to watch the first float go by during the 2nd parade and then did a couple of rides. DD performed in the parade and was on the first float so that was our whole reason for attending the parties.

The second party night was for shows and rides and we watched the first float go by for the 1st and 2nd parade and then moved on to fit in everything as older DD had never attended a MVMCP before.

~ No parties during Thanksgiving week due to the crowd levels and they aren't going to close the park early.
