OK, so I am a long way out, but since I am OCD and a planner, have a question for all you out there who have done a B2B in Europe.

I have read up on how it is done in the States, but what, if any, are the different procedures in Europe? We will be in Copenhagen for the change and I was thinking that the disembark/embarkation day would be a great day to do some more sight seeing.

Is it possible and or advisable to get off early and get a move on to see the city, or should we stay around the boarding terminal? I do know we have to be back in time to get on the ship for that days embarkation, just wondering what to do with the rest of the time, since we will be in Europe.

Any advice or past experience would be a great help! TIA!

Copenhagen has never been done before so ( or just done this month) we do not know but on some Europe cruises you do not have to get off. European border control is far more relaxed than the states and when your 'in' then your in and little checks or rules like port canaveral.

The city is Wonderful the cruises dock to the North of the city and an easy taxi or public transport ride away.

Now even if you can stay on the ship there will be no ships services running so use the time in Copenhagen or organise a tour to the North Zealand castles and palaces.
