What are your thoughts of crowds for the week of February 12 - 16, 2024? That week has Mardi Gras and Valentine's day. What are your experiences at Disneyworld for either of those holidays in past years? Special events in the parks? Any tips?? Thanks in advance.

From past experience, it's going to be very busy and very crowded. Not only MG and Valentine's, but it also leads right into President's Weekend and Daytona weekend. It's a time when folks are going to take some time off, get out of the cold/snow, and head to Orlando and Disney. But, as with other busy times at Disney, you can certainly navigate it by planning early, utilizing Genie+/ILL (if you're looking to do the attractions), getting ADRs (although you've already missed the 60-day mark for that).... Festival of the Arts will still be going on at EPCOT during that time - our favorite festival. We actually thought EPCOT was the most crowded of the parks when we went a similar weekend in the past. Hope you have a great time if you go!

Also the cheer or dance teams will be in the weekend before. It's a really busy week. We leave before all this chaos starts. Have a plan and you can still have fun.

Thank you... we booked last week and THEN got to thinking about this possible snafu.. Oh well, we are older and go at a slower pace.. We'll be fine.

Look on the bright side. It's much busier at WDW right now - so mid-Feb should be fine!! But as long as you realize it will be crowded and you're good with pacing things, you can still have lots of fun! Hope you have a great trip!
