back to back disney cruise? anyone ever done it?

I'm planning on going on a cruise august 19 2006 with two stops at cc for a grad present and I was thinking I wanted to do either a eastern cruise to or land and sea vacation and pay for it because I have the monet for it and it would be my dad's b-day vaction as a suprise since his b-day is august 29 and I was wondering who on here has done back to back disney cruise and tell your stories about it and how it was and if you would do it again

Haven't done a back-to-back yet. However, we're going on August 12 (7-Western) and then August 19 (double dip at CC). I can't imagine anybody not enjoying two weeks on the Magic. Since we're booked in the same stateroom for both weeks we don't have to pack up and change rooms. CM told us when we booked we can stay aboard but I think I'll do laundry and then we'll go over to the space center. HTH

We went on back to backs in October 2002. It was fantastic! We were in the same stateroom for both weeks and didn't get off between cruises.

we have back to back 7 day cruises in nov 2006, our first, but i have read several reports on this site from people who have done this. all said it was great and they would do it again. You don't have to get off the ship, but you do check in with guest services about noon on the day you get back from the first cruise. And during the time everyone else is off the ship you are free to roam anywhere you want. everyone is busy cleaning, you must stay out of their way, but the empty ship makes for some great pictures before everyone gets on board for the next cruise. i can't wait!! we have done 6 disney cruises so far, with another this december so we know that we are going to be in for a fantastic time!!
