We are considering doing back to back cruises - 4 night Bahama's on Magic followed by a 3 night Bahama's on Magic.

I have a couple of questions on how debarkation and embarkation work for the second cruise. Assuming you reserve the same stateroom for both cruises, do you have to leave the boat? Can you leave your luggage on board?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You must leave the ship, but you are last off and one of the first back on.

If you have the same stateroom you can leave all your luggage etc. there just as if it were a normal port day.

If you are changing staterooms generally you pack your luggage but leave it in your room and they will transfer it for you.

You will receive a letter in your stateroom the night before letting you know the specific procedures for your cruise.

As noted, you will leave the ship. The time you spend off the ship will vary. We've done one B2B where were only off the ship long enough to check in again and reboard. And another where we were required to be off the ship by 9:30 and did not reboard until just prior to Concierge - so almost 2 hours off the ship.

Be sure to bring the required ID for checking in again in the terminal. And something to amuse yourself, in case it's a long wait.
