Back in the Saddle Again!

Over the past couple years my family has become "disney'ed out" and after our 3 week trip to the fort in December of 09 we decided that we needed a break. Next thing we knew my wife was pregnant again and we knew we were not coming to visit in 2010 anyway. Boy #3 was born and now a bigger problem was discovered.......

There was no way we were going to travel from Minnesota to Florida in our pickup truck pulling the camper with 3 kids in car seats. We figured it would be years until we were able to come back. The kids were very sad (except new baby who could care less ). Someone secretly started to shop for motorhomes without telling the crew.

To make a long story short we have become the new owners of a 38 foot diesel pusher with enough seating for mom, me, and all the kids. The first thing we did was book a trip to the Fort for late Feb. We could not be more excited to come back. Now on to figuring out how to tow one of my vehicles with us and the golf cart.

It's amazing how much you feel you need a break from Disney until a few months after you left OR you think your not coming back for awhile.

Congrats on the new MH and ressies! I'll be very jealous in late Feb when I am still here in MN freezing.

Congrats! We upgraded to an MH last year and love it! Makes traveling with the kids much easier. Sad to say this year we are staying at Saratoga Springs thanks to a great deal my Aunt is giving us on the cost of a room. I will miss the Fort though! We have friends that will be there Thanksgiving week so as soon as we get there we are going to head over and make them take us around on the golf cart to see all the decorations!

I do things like that all the time, surprise surprise, pack your bags our vacation starts now..... guess where we are going...
