and my niece and nephew (on my hubands side) live 15 minutes from there. my parents had a two hour lay over scheduled there and I was going to have my relatives keep them company. but they got an earlier flight and skip detroit and went to the twin cities.
One time my step daughter when she was only 13 was flighing from Detroit to Rapid city and the plane for Detroit was late due to fog, Well while she was waiting to Board the plane in Detroit the conection Flight from the twin cities took off. So she finally got boarded and landed in minnesota and had to wait for 6 hours for a connecting flight .
We drove from Spear fish to Rapid City 60 miles one way (Where the airport is) twice in one day. one was the orginal time and then we found out what happened so we drove back home and waited for the new time.
