Yaay! Me and my friend had SUCH a wonderful time at Disney the past 2 weeks that we've just booked again for another week in November, 7th - 14th at Coronado Springs. Can't wait to be back and enjoy the xmas season and MVMCP too.:banana::banana::banana:

Wow that was quick  best way to get over the holiday blues :thumbsup2

Yep nothing like booking another holiday while getting rid of holiday blues :) happy planning

yay nothing like planning another trip to get over holiday blues :goodvibes

OMG i am so jelous, we got back on Monday and i am so down about not having another trip planned! But lucky you going again this year :thumbsup2. you really have caught the bug lol!

wow your trip went by quickly, how was it? Glad to see another ticker ticking along nicely :thumbsup2

It went too quick for my liking! It was great though, and although I think the All Stars are perfectly fine, I'm definitely ready to move up to a moderate this time. Everyone thinks I'm crazy going back again so soon haha, I guess some people just don't get it!

We went Feb, going August and looking for a bargain for Oct. :goodvibes
I did book some flights on Tuesday knowing they were a misprice, £200pp for Oct half term:rolleyes1 Confirmation never came thru so after a few hours I logged on for it to say £600 deposit paid £910 balance due(they had not added taxes). I sent email telling them to either honour their original price or cancel, got a phone call letting me know they were cancelling.

 Imagine if they had honored that! I was looking at your sig and noticed how frequently you have been/go. Very envious! :thumbsup2

They do sometimes, our trip in August 2009 was in Business class for £475pp instead of about £1,700. Many of us got it, we 1st pulled up a quote for economy then changed it to Biz class, the price stayed at economy rate. Only problem was we enjoyed it so much I ended up paying £1170pp for the same last August.

We have been very fortunate to travel as much as we like the past few years, my Mum passed away 7 years ago age 59, the money she left me I decided was for travel while our son was at home to enjoy it with us. I didn't want to get to retirement and say I wished we had done more, no-one knows if they are going to be fit enough in retirement or like my Mum not even make it(we have lost 3 parents before they retired)
The way the economy is we will have to slow down in the near future but its been a great few years.

I agree with you, I'd have done the same thing. I'm fortunate enough to have a job that pays a decent wage for my age, and try not to spend too much on 'things' so I can afford to go places instead.

That is the reason so many of us make the sacrifices we do to keep going back. Many criticise and even more raise eyebrows but I wholeheartedly agree with your way of thinking on this. I want my daughter to grow up remembering the wonderful time we spent together and a missed opportunity is a wasted one imo.

So Ben1993, did you unpack your suitcases first or did you just book and leave some of the Disney stuff in there and pop them in the attic? ;)

Agreed! Money is better spent making memories than on superficial things imo. Funnily enough, I havn't even unpacked yet! :lmao:

:rotfl2:That's what I was hoping to hear! I did the same in 2009. Left the cases in the hall downstairs while I lay on my bed with a bag of Cheetos and called Disney for a quote ..... and booked :rotfl: You gotta love it.
