Back home again: Highs and Lows

Glad you had such a great time and also that the photo session went well. We did this last year at the Grand Floridian and were so pleased with the photos that we booked for the Polynesian for next trip. Hoping we will still be pleased with the results.

We did the Poly last year, loved it and did the GF this year. I think we may do BC next year. Although there was a general outcry about the sharp price increase it is still unbeatable value; they were practically giving it away last year!

It did go quickly this trip - don't they all :lmao: But I really felt like I had been gone for ages when I got back, if that makes any sense, and feel so much more relaxed despite a slight touch of jet lag which has not been too bad this time round. I remember suffering terribly last year, but we seemed to fare much better this time round. :love:

Welcome home Lee, cant believe how quick your holiday went:sad1:

Im voting for a TR:yay::yay:

Hmm, quite a few votes for a TR .... I am almost persuaded .... ;)

I know. I actually anticipated it based on logical deduction and hoped for the best. I have NEVER seen that park so quiet! :eek: I think we ran round the queue area of RnR at least 8 or 9 times that morning in quick succession. It was great because the CM's were fast tracking everyone through the pre show.

Did you see the other 2 pics of the Dead Waltzers I posted on the other thread? One of them has to be your friend's DD :)

Haven't started my TR yet. Trying to sort out a major headache with my credit card :scared1: Systems error means some things I have brought home have technically ... not been paid for :scared1:

But since I haven't started my TR yet, I will post one of my favorite piccies from our trip, which sums up the essence of our time away:

Thanks Beth. It's a Nikon D40, so not a fancy DSLR by any means, but the biggest influence in results aside from camera settings are in the lens. This was an 18-105 VR. :goodvibes

welcome home!!:thumbsup2

Can I just ask - What dates did you go to the MNSSHP? Just interested as we want to go next year, and wanted to try and guess which dates/days are usually quieter.

Many thanks:thumbsup2

We went on September 27th and October 2nd. The first one was busy and the second very quiet. I don't believe the busy one was due to the day of the week or time of the year - it was directly related to coinciding with the week running up to the 40th anniversary, Wine & Dine marathon and Food & Wine Festival. People booked a week to be able to attend one or more of the above and the Tuesday and Friday were the only party nights they could choose from. I steer clear of Friday and Saturday night parties but the second one we did was a Sunday and it was QUIET!!! As in walk up to the get a front row seat 5 minutes before the parade :thumbsup2 There is never a way of telling what parties will be busy aside from the ones around Halloween itself which tend to sell out, but they are not usually as crowded as the first one. And we got so much done that first night anyway. It forces you to employ a strategy when it is so busy which has its own advantages so don't be put off. :goodvibes

Welcome back

Thank you :flower3:

Welcome home - the weather was clearly better than recently from your photos.

First week was hot and very humid. On the first Sunday I coudn't take photos until almost noon due to lenses on camera and camcorder misting up instantly as you wiped them. We had one night of showers in the beginning of the week but it was warm and pleasant and led to a blissfully deserted Epcot. It then only rained again the weekend we left so we really missed the bad weather. :)
