Got back earlier today and already wishing I could book our next trip :lmao:

Highs:

Very christmasy

Loved the shows - Mickeys Winter Wonderland, Xmas tree ceremony and Auroras xmas wish

Had some very nice meals in particular Blue Lagoon and Walts

DD first birthday cake even though she didnt notice our eldest loved it

New merchandise (spent a fortune )

Some lovely guests who moved to allow DD to front, gave the baby chocolate coins when she was upset watchign the parade.

Several characters specifically pointing at DD and waving during the parade it really made her day

Lows:

Weather - it rained almost all week with heavy showers and causing shows to be cancelled.

Watching xmas tree lighting ceremony, after the float was infront of the tree they move the rope without warning so DD was at front and got trampled on and shoved to back and one bloke even stood on her foot so we had tears and her asking why people were so nasty there.

No characters at all wandering around as per all our other trips.

House keeping at Cheyenne again Im disgusted with it our room was thilty, food under bed from previous people, daughter was ill and they didnt change our sheets, bins werent empties, towels were stained, marks all down front of the toilet and on toilet door, something sticky on the sink with hairs hanging from it and we are all covered in bites I assume bed bugs.

If the Cheyenne Resort was filthy "the last time", why did you go back?

My wife and I went to DLP last October and were appalled at the general lack of cleanliness at the resort in general, particularly the public restrooms at the parks. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, which wasn't as bad as you described the Cheyenne, but it still wasn't up to our expectations.

I'm sorry your room at the Cheyenne wasnt up to standards. Did you complain? We also stayed in there this week (Mon-Weds) and our room was excellent.

The weather was shocking wasnt it? We were lucky with Monday and Tuesday but I'm now battling a chest infection thanks to Wednesday all afternoon long downpour. :sad2:

The Wilderness Lodge is at WDW, so I think you are referring to Sequoia Lodge :thumbsup2

It wasn't thilthy last time I never said that I said again, it was bad when we stayed here in 2009 but have been there twice since and was very pleased with it.

I tried to complain but didn't have much luck as they conveniently couldn't understand me .
