I swear we spent more money on pins than on food and alcohol (which for us is a LOT!!) LOL!
We had a great time! I was initially upset when I heard they had released the Memorial Day pin on Saturday and was bummed to hear that it had sold out quickly. Imagine my surprize on Sunday when we hit MGM to find they had pleanty left at the Hat...
We were also able to get the following LE's:
Nurses Day
Secretaries Day
Cinco de Mayo
Minnie UK stamp pin
Figaro animation legends
Goofy's Birthday
Walt w/ Mickey Shadow
we also picked up some of the Star Wars rack pins but Jeff really only wanted some of the ship pins. we werent real crazy about the faces on the character pins.
Flower & garden including the scented pin
I also found the following Lanyard series pins: Tigger train (2); dalmation; mickey head; and Hercules. --can I tell you the younger kids were ruthless with these!!! I had a young girl try to guilt me out of my Hercules pin on the way out of Its Tough to be a Bug and I witnessed another grill a CM at Tatooine Traders (she asked---do you have any in your pockets? are you sure? are they in the back somewhere? and on and on...until the CM had to "firmly" explain--after being ever so patient-- that she had NO lanyard series pins anywhere...)
I also was able to pick up some Prince pins for my favorite pin trader friend Rachel....
others we saw:
Belle, Daisy and Abu Epcot Stamp pins
Arbor Day
Rabbit Wanna Trade?
Star Wars light up pins
overall a successful pion weekend (even though we missed the angel pin releases...)
