Wow what an awesome week we had
From start to finish, my prayers were answered. Our flight from Rochester to Orlando was flawless..my little nephew was an angel. He put the extra happiness in the whole trip. We landed in Orlando and from touchdown to Disney Hollywood Studios it was 3 hours tops
Our room was ready and we did get the Surf's up building and we were on the backside..no view, but quiet...
The most we had to wait for any bus was maybe 20 minutes. We were blest with perfect weather..hot, but not humid, and we had rain spritz's one day for maybe 15 minutes...it did get humid the day we were leaving..Thank you God for that
We also were blest with no or very little wait times for any shows, attractions and rides..including Dumbo
The longest wait was 40 minutes and that was for Snow White and that was when it was raining...so...we didn't care. The longest time we had to wait for breakfast was the only bad time and we had to wait for at least 40 minutes..and we had ressies
they explained that they were busy...oh, well...all the breakfast we had were great and the food was hot and fresh. Dinner at Whispering Canyon, was great..we were seated in the "quiet area" and I made mention that I would like to be where that action was and the young lady who seated us, arranged for that to happen and within 5 minutes we were reseated and our meal was started
Our waitress wasn't attentive, but that didn't bother me...we ate and the food was great..a little over priced but we were on the dining plan..we were also able to ride up in the front of the Monorail!!!! That was exciting too
Our week ended and we were happy with everything, well maybe not my granddaughter, but...she is 14 and she has an attitude..but my little nephew and I worked around her...
The only glitch in the whole week was that my granddaughter's luggage didn't arrive with us..I packed all of my souveniers and my little nephew's in my carry on bag and I tried to tell my granddaughter to do the same...did she??? NO!! So, her luggage never arrived until today, 2 full days after we got home...other than that little problem..all went well and we had a great time..IF I can figure out how to post pictures I will. I took 339 NO, I won't post them all God is good and He truly answered my many prayers..We stayed at the All Star Sports and it was perfect for us..If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask...by the way, I made shirts from the Disign Board and we had many compliments...oh, I almost forgot...the kids were entering Buzz Lightyear ranger spin and they received Dream Fast Passes...they however didn't understand what they were and when I explained well..they were soooo excited....so was I for that matter
