Hey guys!
First I would like to thank everyone who followed my PTR! Thank you for all the nice comments and great suggestions/info!:)

To those who didn't follow my PTR...here's a little background info!
The "cast" consisted of:
1)Myself of course:lmao:
2)My boyfriend, Andrew ((I am so lucky to have found not only a great guy but someone who loves Disney as much as I do!!))
3)His sister, Ashtin
4)Her boyfriend, Greg

DBF & I had 5 days to WDW & 1 day to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure.
Ashtin & Greg spent 2 days at WDW, 1 at Universal Studios, & 1 at Busch Gardens in Tampa.

As you can see since our tickets are quite different, we didn't do much together but rather just separated as couples, which was nice because DBF & I have never done the parks with just the two of us:love:

We stayed at Quality Inn's Royal Parc Suites

Now for the TR:cheer2:

Day 1: March 7, 2009

Ashtin & Greg couldn't get off of work for the entire week so we left on the 7th & they left on the 8th!

DBF & I set off in my dad's Honda Accord and we were so excited we couldn't contain ourselves! Every time we would look at each other we had these huge cheesy smiles that we couldn't control!
WDW is about 7 hours away from the FL panhandle, which is where we live!

Here are some pictures from the car!

The weather was just beautiful!! & the best thing..it stayed that way for the rest of the week!!

We were making great time on the road & were anxious for DTD that night but we were getting hungry so we decided to stop for lunch...

Up next...a slight bump in the road:scared1: !!

It was so awesome there. My trip report link is in my signature. I'm still working on day one, but got alot of pics posted already!

Wow, I have been so SO busy since I got home!
Not complaining though! After a trip to WDW i'm broke so making money is a good thing:goodvibes

Alright so continuing on with day 1! (wow, i'm behind:scared1: !!)

DBF & I were on our way to the lovely WDW!! Both of us (I think mainly me:rotfl2: ) were starting to get a little hungry! Since we were trying to have as much money as possible for Disney, we decided to stop at the always classy, McDonalds!:lmao:

Here is where the first little "bump in the road" occurred. As I said earlier, DBF and I were borrowed my dad's Honda Accord. After finishing up lunch at Mickey D's we headed back to the car. DBF unlocked the driver side door, got in, then unlocked my door...then when he put the key into the ignition the alarm went off!!:scared1: Now most cars have a button or something of the sort you can press to deactivate the alarm. Not my dad's. You have to wait a good 3-5 min for the alarm to shut off. DBF has little to no patience with mechanical stuff so of course he was starting to get angry. People were staring :rotfl:
I called my dad to try and figure things out while DBF flipped through the manual and we still couldn't figure it out! After it finally went off we got back on the interstate. While on the interstate, DBF realized that he has forgotten to lock the doors. As soon as he pressed the lock button the alarm goes off as we are driving down the interstate!!:rotfl2: It's funny to think back on but of course, at the moment I was slightly embarassed and DBF was just down right mad. Needless to say we called my dad back and at the next exit we figured things out! This won't be the last incident involving the car:eek:

After a few more hours of driving we finally came across this wonderful sign!!

We were finally there!! We got a little turned around trying to find our hotel but once we did, it was still too early to check in. We had about 40 min 'til check in time so we went and looked around a gift shop.

After check in it was time for DTD!!

Belle is my absolute favorite!!

I had originally planned on DBF and I eating at WPE or EoS but DBF wanted RFC! Who was I to argue with that?? :rotfl:

DSC00204.jpg

((His eye's are closed but I like this one of me LOL!!))

We didn't make any ADR's for our trip so we had a wait time of 45 min, which I though was pretty awesome considering it was a Saturday! It helped that it was just the two of us though! A group of four in front of us had to wait an hour and 45 min! We were seated in the "elephant" section

DSC00207.jpg

I didn't take very many food pictures on the trip because most of what we ate was boring CS food but at RFC DBF had the cheese pizza which he has had before and likes and I had the "Plant Earth Pasta" which was amazing! It was penne paste with marinara sauce, sausage and bread! DELICIOUS! I wanted to also stop by Goofy's Candy Company but we were both way too full!

We had done some looking around on our 45 min wait so after we were done eating, we were both tired & ready to go get some sleep so we headed back to the hotel.

First stop: Magic Kingdom!!

i have to admit.....

i laughed hysterically when i read that your alarm was going off while driving on the interstate!!!!!! :rotfl2: i am still laughing!!!! :rotfl:

i'm sorry, it's just funny!

loved your pics!!

i'm looking forward to hearing more!! :)

Subscribing! Looks like you're off to a great start ... can't wait to see what happens when you get to the parks. We're not leaving for another 8 months and I need my Disney fix!

HAHA!! don't be sorry!! it is funny!! DBF even laughs about it now!:rotfl:

I am so laughing at the alarms incidences. LOL! Both are funny, and I would want to just crawl in a hole while ti was happening. Glad you are going slow, becuase I am so way behind in reading posts.

Sounds like a great start, other than the alarm going off in the car. :lmao:

hey guys I am SO sorry I haven't been updating!
I really want to be dedicated to this but I have just been so busy with work and school! especially since finals are nearing! :scared1:
I'm going to try and post something this weekend for sure! I hope you haven't forgotten about me LOL!

Just so you DBF doesn't feel so stupid - I have a Honda Accord and I ALWAYS set the alarm off. If I sit in the car for, oh, 30 seconds before I put the key in the ignition, the doors lock. If I try to manually unlock the doors or start the car, the alarm goes off. I seriously think there is some type of short in the automatic key. I am used to it now, so I only set the alarm off about once a month! :rotfl:

Great TR so far!

ready and waiting! Come on! I have about 24 pages in my trip report now and we went the same time! LOL! :lmao:

hey guys!
wow I am ashamed for not keeping up with this but I have honestly been super busy! summer is just around the corner though:thumbsup2 too bad i have to take summer classes though:mad: atleast it will only be one or two!

Alright so onto our first day at a park..
Magic Kingdom

DBF & I like to always do MK first! No real reason why LOL!

As we were approaching the entry gate to MK DBF & I noticed a TON of runners. I didn't realize it at first but they were all women! Some were even dressed up as Disney princesses! Later on during our MK visit I saw several ladies wearing Foot Locker Princess Marathon shirts. The shirts were ADORABLE! Made me wish I would've done the marathon just for the shirt!
I snapped pictures of course LOL!..

DSC00210.jpg

As soon as we parked we headed straight to the monorail. Once we got off the monorail and entered MK we went straight to Space Mountain!

DSC00221.jpg

Next it was time for Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin! I am HORRIBLE at this! DBF always seems to do pretty well though!

Our Scores:

Here we are with Emperor Zurg!
DSC00235.jpg

Next we headed to Transit Authority! I don't ever remember riding this..maybe I did when I was younger! And I had NO idea it went through part of Space Mountain! All these years I never knew!!
DSC00244.jpg

Here's me! We were riding the Snow White's Scary Adventure! I was pretending to be scared LOL!
DSC00259.jpg

We LOVE Philharmagic! DBF have yet to decide which 3D show is our favorite. There are so many great ones!
DSC00268.jpg

It was around this point when we decided to head to Frontier Land. As i've gotten older I have become less fond of walking around the parks feeling like you wet your pants. DBF LOVES Splash Mountain and I almost feel obligated to ride it since it's such a classic and a main MK attraction. I would feel weird NOT riding it! DBF & I decided we'd sit in the back to avoid us (mostly me LOL!) getting wet! As we approached the boarding area we noticed that the last three "logs" that unloaded people were dry in the back row. Everyone we saw exiting from the back row was bone dry so I was like "GREAT!" I'll get to enjoy the ride AND I won't have to get wet!
WRONG! We didn't even make it to the first drop and we were drenched! Right as we got near the final drop..a log was at the top ready to take the plunge. Due to their drop they splashed us and we got soaked!! I will admit, my clothes did dry pretty fast though

Next it was time for the Celebrate Today Parade!

DSC00298.jpg

Next we visited one of my favorites the Haunted Mansion! Love it! They've changed a few minor things which have made it even better!

Time for Pirates! Unfortunately it had shut down for a about an hour due to technical difficulties. We did see this guy! He looked/acted EXACTLY like Cpt. Jack Sparrow (aka Johnny Depp!)

DSC00309.jpg

We caught another parade at the castle next...it was kind of like a dance party! I can't remember the name though!

DSC00318.jpg

Mickey looked so cute:goodvibes
DSC00316.jpg

Here we are by the castle! I wish we would've gotten one at night but we were too busy saving seats for Spectromagic!!
DSC00322.jpg

We then headed to Casey's to get some hotdogs and fries. I especially wanted to get the cheese dip I had been craving ever since I read about it on Camster0307's TR that her daughter loves!
Here's a pic LOL!
DSC00323.jpg

For the next 2 hours we sat...and sat...AND SAT! my butt was hurting so badly (don't have much back there to begin with LOL!) but we had great seats!

Finally it was time!

Anyone notices they've made the troll looking things a little less creepy??

DBF and I have never seen Wishes together and I haven't seen it in forever however, we were both SO tired so we decided to skip the fireworks and head home..
Here's a shot of the castle at night! It is beautiful! it changes colors!
DSC00326.jpg

Up next: Animal Kingdom!!

Once again I would like to apologize for not being on here more often! I know i'm getting redundant but I have seriously been so so busy but school is almost over for the semester

Hopefully there won't be quite as much time between updates now LOL!

Was that on Sunday? we were there too that day. We got a great spot for Spectro right in front of Hall of Presidents and only walked up about 7:30 or so. There were lots of open spots at that time, but come 8, people were trying to squeeze in where they could. LOL!
Looks like a fun day. Was it pretty easy to get on rides in the day. We didn;t get over till evening and it was walk on pretty much after Spectro.
