Since I'm on the Spoodles thought... let's do this next. We cancelled Boma for this one... just were too tired to do the bus experience over the AKL and back and were happy that we lucked into this ADR (boy we were out of luck actually!) Were seated outside which was fine. The server we had would have been better off at Denny's throwing up a plate of pancakes. No personality or serving skills at all - maybe reflective of the labour shortage in Orlando. For apps we had mediterranean dips, these were okay, nicely presented in tiered bowls, with fresh pita bread. The calamari was another story, it was like they had emptied half a jar of sliced hot peppers, thrown it on the plate then topped it with breaded calamari - soggy, nasty. For entrees, DS tried to order the game hen but was told he would not like it, strongly not recommended, even though we told her he was quite adventurous. She recommended the pan fried chicken cutlet which was like a large chicken finger, with the salad put on top - warm salad, soggy chicken from salad dressing. DH had steak kabobs - can't remember why he hated it, but believe me he still talks about Spoodles, and turns red. I had the red snapper which was pretty good, by far the best meal. DD had the 4 cheese flatbread which she hated as there was more goat cheese on it than anything else. Goat cheese is great, she even likes goat cheese just not to the exclusion of everything else (seemed like more goat cheese than crust). We had creme brulee for dessert, problem being it was cold - straight out of the fridge. Since we never saw the server, and we were outside we never had the ability to complain. Just when I was ready to hunt her down to order dessert she finally came. We ordered wine and the only thing she did was open and pour the first glass - I hate that we had to pay an 18% automatic gratuity on that! This was by far our worst meal, and probably the only restaurant in all of WDW that we will never return to.
