I've just got back from a 5 night break with my boyfriend. I found these boards so useful while planning the holiday and I thought I'd share my highs and lows. We stayed in the Premiere Classe in Bussy St George for our first night and then stayed in Sequoia Lodge for the other 4 nights.

I'll start with the lows to get them out the way:
The railroad - We waited in a short queue for 15 mins before a train came. The cm then only filled up about 4 carriages before closing up the half full train and sending it on its way again. :confused3 They only had one train running so we had to wait half an hour for it to come back round again. We decided to stick it out but I wish we had just left the queue in hindsight!
I think that was the only low, and it was hardly a big one!

Highs:
Dreams! - Neither of us had seen it before and we both loved it! Such a beautiful show and totally worth the wait in the cold. :goodvibes We saw Frozen the day before we left so it was lovely to see a bit of Olaf too.
The weather - Okay, it was freezing, but we had clear blue skies everyday except yesterday when it clouded over in the afternoon. We were so lucky, it didn't rain once!
Blue Lagoon - We had a meal here on Tuesday afternoon and it was such an amazing experience. We had a table right next to the water, the cms were lovely and the food was delicious.
Low queue times - The queues were so short! I think the longest we waited (besides that awful railroad queue!) was about 20 mins for crush. Everything else we waited a maximum of 10-15 mins.
Tree lighting ceremony and calvacade - Loved watching these, they made me feel so christmassy.
Eurostar - So quick and easy!
Sequoia Lodge - I loved the theming of this hotel so much and the room felt so luxurious and warm after a long day at the parks!

It's so hard to pick out highs because the whole holiday was so amazing! All in all we had a wonderful time and I'm so glad we chose to go during the Christmas season.
I need to go through my photos first, but I think I might attempt a trip report because I've really enjoyed reading through the others and they've been so helpful for planning!

So glad you had a magical time. We love the Sequoia Lodge in winter time with its super toasty fire. :santa:

It's perfect for Christmas isn't it? It was so lovely drinking mulled wine in the bar in the evenings!

Lol well used to the cold......always go in cold months....went in June this year and while I really enjoyed it I prefer the colder months..
.I got really tired in the heat and the long hours in the park :-o

I think, but may be mistaken, that is because the train will fill in the others stations, as not anyone will get off the train at each station ? So they need to let some carriages free for the others stations.
(oh god, I feel what I'm saying is not as clear as I wanted :/)

Otherwise : glad you had a wonderful stay !!

Welcome back, sounds perfect!

It really was! Reading about your last trip just before we went made me extra excited about going!

Don't worry, you're being perfectly clear! I thought this might be the case, but when we got our chance to go on the train they actually filled it up completely. I think we were just unlucky!

Welcome back :)

Thank you!
