Quick posting as I hope to get a trip report up in the next few days.
We just got back yesterday afternoon from the 1/15 Western sailing of the Magic. This was a special second honeymoon cruise for my DW and I. We have cruised 4 time previous to this with our three childern. This time all alone
We were able to do this thanks to Disney who after our hurricane Jeanne cruise in September issued refunds and discounts. Mind you they are not legally obligated to do either. We rolled them both into a romatic cruise for two!
Weather was not spectacular all week, but we have a foot of snow here in Southern NJ, which do you think I prefer right now? I still managed a tan and a few hours almost every day in the sun.
We weren't sure how it would be with out our kids, but the trip was just as magical as ever. We really enjoyed doing some of the things we didn't always get a chance to do, like dance at every dance party every night!
The cast and crew were outstanding and it was so fun seeing some of our friends from onboard.
Yes, we missed two ports and one of those being Castaway Cay, but that's life and we can't control nature. We know weather is a risk with every vacation, we just always choose to make the best of the situation.
We're very much looking forward to booking our next visit to the Magic, hopefully in Feb. 2006!
