Hi
we had a great time as usual. We didn't get the end of the hall we requested but it was still a beautiful view. Room 3516. Just a trek to the lounge but we are use to walking at Disney lol
The staff was as helpful as ever and friendly too. The only change we noticed was in the food offerings the last two nights we were there, not sure if the reg. chef was off or what but the choices were few and not so good.Monday night -sushi, Tues. chicken with noodles, wed. spring rolls, thurs. pasta fruit salad, fri sorry didn't check we had PSs at Boma's but they only offered 3 desserts (usually they have about 6-7). wed. they also offered ham and cheese sandwiches. All the evening they offered the usual fruit tray, veggie tray, cheese tray and pband J sandwiches (crustables). They ran out of Bailey's on tues and didn't have any more until thurs and didn't offer to go get any. Which is unusal.
the desserts they had on all but the last two nights were wonderful. There apple tarts are heavenly. On the last night we were there they had an apple cake that none of us could eat. IT had an apple filling in the middle and reg. icing on the top, stay away from this one it is terrible!! My daughter who usually can eat anything sweet actually went into the bathroom and spit this stuff out.
we did no mornings, usually not out of the room until 10-11am and rode everything we wanted to. The hotel seemed crowded but the parks weren't bad at all. much better than the same time last yr. We didn't wait over 20 mins in any line and did no fastpasses. we did enight which is probably why we didn't have to wait in line for tomorrow land rides like space mt , buzz and etc. And I am soooooo proud of my daughter she rode 3 grown up rollercoasters and loved them. Up until this year she has been scared to ride any of them. She has been bragging to everyone LOL. The only thing that we didn't do that i really wanted to do was the MK parade durring the day. It was just too hot to sat in that crowd to watch a parade. it was in the upper 90s every day accept the last two which rain part of the days. Friday it rained from about noon on.
We ate at the Prime time 50s the first night and it is great!!
A first for us and a must do again. Should ask for Chris's table if possible. He was a hoot. He didn't wait on us but had a table close to ours and was the funniest waiter there. Dh had the meat loaf , I had the roast and DD had the chicken fingers. All were yummy!!
About the strollers at the Poly, someone had asked before i left if they were jogging or umbrella's. They have a couple of both and it is first come first served. Usually are gone within an hour of opening.
Can't recall anything else at the moment and this is already LONG lol
any questions ....ask away....
