Back from our May 8th cruise, few comments... (LONG)

I booked the Radisson right off of their web site, which required it being paid for in advance and it was the $89.00 rate.

I booked this room way in advance right from the site. It was only 119.00. It could have been a special rate at the time. Even if we had to pay more for the room we got it would have been worth it to me.

Just a thought about the pillowcases. What if you asked the cm escorting a character to take them and get them signed for you. I bet if you gave them cash on the spot, they would take care of it. Something I'm hoping to try in January.

I asked about the signing of shirts for kids when we got on board may 8. I was told I would have to bring it on Thursday to guest services. On Thursday after breakfast a I asked again just to make sure and she said yes bring them down. I went up got the shirts and it was now a different cm. She said no they are not doing it anymore. Well I explained my situation and the fact that I asked to make sure 2 times and both times was told yes. She said it was her manager that said no so I asked to speak to her. I told her I had heard rumors they were not doing it anymore that is why i asked 2 times before bringing them down. Had the first girl the first day said no then i would not have had a problem but twice i was told yes. She finally said in my case she would do it do to the mixed message i got. I picked them up on Friday and what a wonderful keepsake for my kids. I guess we were one of the last one. I have to say even though they said no i told her i had seen many people picking up pillowcasses/shirts on our cruise. That is why i pushed it. I don't know wether they did it for certain people and not for others.
