How can 2 and a half weeks go so quickly?!?!?! We had an incredible Honeymoon and so many amazing memories to treasure....I'll do a full trip report and pics in due course but a few things to note:

Pro's
Toy Story Mania - amazing....my arm still hurts!
Discovery Cove - I must admit I wasn't sure what to make of this ahead of going but it was simply wonderful.
Manta - great new ride, some serious G forces in the first inversion
Food - OMG - we had some incredible meals, Ohana, Mama Melrose, Chef Mickeys, Le Cellier, Logan's TGI's, Cindys, Whispering Canyon....the list goes on!
Cast members - you really notice the difference away from Disney - I know some people complain about over the top cheesy personalities but the contrast being super friendly, super helpful cast members and very often, other guests is a million miles away from what we are used to in Paris (some notable exceptions aside)
Getting to ride the Carousel on our own on our first full day - we got asked if we wanted to ride it before the park opened - we went around twice and were told we could keep going around as long as wanted! A real special moment.
Segway tour and special treatment from the Cast members.....
Crowds - despite the many worries from people, it was fine - yes, peak time of the day it is busy but we got to EPCOT at 9.10am on 4th July and walked straight onto Soarin' - and I mean straight on.
Sharing our Illuminations Cruise with Karenpowley and her family.
Our resort photo session at AKL.
Spirit of Aloha - I had heard so many mixed reviews about this I thought about cancelling - I'm so glad I didn't - great food and fab entertainment.
The list goes on and on.....

Con's
Not that many thankfully, main one being that I am now official old as I went on Kali River rapids wearing a poncho!
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit not being open
Yak and Yeti - disappointing and incredibly expensive for what it is
Brazilian tour groups - to be fair, they were fine and well organised and polite - they just seemed to be everywhere - is there anyone left in Brazil?!

I'd be happy to answer any questions people have about what's going on there just now.....

Thanks! :wizard::wizard:

I would love to hear more about the food, especially Logans :thumbsup2

Welcome back :)

Wow! can;t believe you're back already!!

I'm so glad you had and amazing trip!!

Can;t wait to read your TR!!

Welcome home, sounds like a fantastic trip. Glad the Pros list is long and Cons list is short.

Sounds like you had a blast - I'm sure you're not officially old if you wear a poncho on the rapids (like me) surely????? :rotfl:

I would love to hear more about the food, especially Logans :thumbsup2

Welcome back :)

Logan's is fabulous - went to the one on Sand Lake Road - as you go from I Drive towards the Florida Mall. They run a promotion on Mon/Tues nights and it's two meals from their list for $13.99 - we had peanuts on arrival (it's tradition to throw the shells on the floor), piping hot fresh bread and then our two meals - with refills we had 5 drinks and the total bill came to $20.84 - it felt like we were stealing from them! The food is really good quality as well.

Thank you, its on our offsite list for October and ive heard some good reports.

Sounds like you had an amazing Disneymoon!
Really looking forward to hearing more and seeing some pics! :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had a wonderful time :goodvibes Nice short review too and it seems you had a blast! Logan's is one I'll note down for our next trip, it'll be nice to try something different off-site.

Can't wait to see your pictures and trip report! :thumbsup2

ha ha I remember when i went this time of year 3 years ago there were brazilian tour groups every where especially when we watched fireworks all in bright t shirts

we wondered the same is there any one left in Brazil x x

Welcome back :wave2: and welcome to the "officially old" club ~ I too wear a poncho on Kali after getting drenched the first time! :rotfl:

Welcome home, sounds like a fab time was had by all. :goodvibes

I look forward to reading your trip report & seeing some pics.

Welcome back! We got married in Disney, and yes it does just fly by! Will be interested to hear the extra pixie dust you got as it was your honeymoon? Also the AKL resort photo shoot, I have always wanted to do a resort shoot just not really sure if it is worth it? Sounds like you had a fab time:banana:

Welcome back! It seems to have gone very quickly indeed!
Glad that you had a great time!

Sounds like you had a great time :goodvibes
Can 2nd the recommendation about Logan's. DS steak tips were bigger than my 6oz sirloin :thumbsup2
By the way on the promotion night kids are also a great price of $2.99. Our bill for 5 before tip was $29.49 :goodvibes

We didn't find the Brazilian and Argentinian tour parties a problem and it was fun listening to them trying to out sing each other while waiting for Fantasmic.
Queue jumpers and adults thinking they can muscle in when you have waited for parades were our worst experiences. Same nationalities who travel to Paris being the worst offenders :rolleyes1
