Hi everyone!! Just thought I would touch base after returning from the May 1st Eastern. I have notes prepared so that I can do a full trip report, but it will take me a while to get it all typed out. In the meantime, I just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful trip we had!!!!!

The cruise was AWESOME for us!!!! Disney sure knows how to make the cruise a MAGICal experience, and we all had a great time. I would HIGHLY recommend the Disney Cruise Line to anyone who is thinking about it, it was the experience of a lifetime!!!!!!

On St. Martin, we shopped in the morning and then went to Great Bay Beach in the afternoon, plus rented a jet ski (which was the highlight of the trip for my son!!). On St. Thomas, we went to Coral World in the morning on our own, and spent the afternoon shopping at Havensight and visiting Paradise Point. On Castaway Cay, dh and I parasailed in the morning, then we did the family beach all afternoon.

The weather was beautiful, although it was VERY windy. We mostly had 4-8 foot seas, with occasional 8-12 foot swells. You could feel the boat moving, more sometimes that others, but I didn’t hear a lot of people complaining. I took a half of a Bonine every morning and every night (actually started the Thursday before the cruise) because I am prone to seasickness, and I never had a bit of trouble. The rest of my family didn’t take anything, and they didn’t have any problems either.

I will be posting my trip report, probably in a few days, but in the meantime, if you have any questions for a recent traveler, please feel free to ask!!!

Nice to have you back!!

Since your itenary sounds a lot like mine, I'm dying to read your reports!! I'd also like to know about what you collected on board for your scrapping!

I'm so glad you had a nice trip. :)

Welcome back! So glad you had a great time. I can't wait to see your trip report. We'll be leaving in a few days for our cruise and we're all just very excited. We'll be doing the Eastern as well so any last minute tips on anything would be great!!!

Welcome home! I'm so happy to hear your trip was magical!

Can't wait to read your report! :sunny:

CRB.... as far as scrapbooking stuff, one thing I did was to get an extra Navigator every day (they leave you one in your room, you can get extras at Guest Services) so I could mark on one and still have a "clean" one for the scrapbook. Also, I got copies of all the dinner menus from our concierge staff. The main thing I did was take tons and tons of pictures. NEVER be without your camera!!! You never know when a perfect photo op is going to present itself. I took about 350 digitals, three rolls of 35 mm, plus filled two regular disposables, a waterproof disposable and a panoramic disposable. I plan on starting the scrapbook this weekend, and am guessing it will be about 3-4 inches thick, lol
