Back from our 1st trip and...Uh Oh!

We have officially been bitten by the Disney Bug!! We bought AP's, and have already booked our next trip for Xmas time!! We've only been back a week LOL.

We stayed 4 days, and still didn't see everything we wanted (DS decided that DLR would be the perfect time to teeth his first molars, 3 at once!!!, so needless to say we had a VERY fussy baby, that needed LOTS of breaks ). We stayed at the Carousel Inn, It was decent enough, The employees were SUPER nice, but the rooms themselves were just kind of small and there were some things I wasn't fond of. Next time we'll try HoJo's, now that we can get the AP rates (although during Xmas we're using my Mom's timeshare). We had so much fun, and DD loved it soooo much! We did Goofy's Kitchen on her B-day, and that was it, she was sold! She has decided Goofy is her Favorite

I used so many tips and tricks that I got on here, and just wanted to say thank you for helping give people advice to make their trips magical You Guys Rock!

Yay! I'm glad you had a great time! How far away is DLR from your home? We're an hour and a 1/2 plane ride and a 11 hour *with no stops so we'll say 12 according to Mapquest* we haven't driven yet but maybe for our Thanksgiving visit.....

We've had APs the last 2 years! But not this year, we've visiting over the 4th of July and Thanksgiving weekends and all APs but the Premium AP are blocked but two 3 day park hoppers *our July hopper is 5 days and it'll still be cheaper* are less $$ than the Premium AP! Enjoy your C-mas visit ~ we've visited early Dec. the last 2 years and it's been lovely!

I hope those were Premium Annual Passes because everything else is blocked out durring Xmas time. The Deluxe is blocked out Dec 23-Jan 2, even worse for the SoCal Passes.

We're only about 3-3 1/2 hours away, but with driving a big ol' truck and gas, and packing up the kids etc. It's still no easy feat getting down there! LOL....I'd definitely fly vs. and 11 hour drive too!

Giselle, I didn't even think to get one of those buttons! LOL. I got DD her B-day button, but since DH and I have been to DL as kids and teenagers, we didn't even think of it being the kids' 1st time....oops

LavenderPeach and Disney Dreams, I had no idea of how fast that damn snowball would grow!! LOL. I was never the person to wear characters or want the Disney shirts etc. (I know people love them, so no offense, it just wasn't me) but OMG!!! there are 3 shirts @ DL, that I am now coveting and can not get out of my head! LOL. And I am already planning the outfits to make the kids for our Xmas trip. DH thinks I've lost it


Edited: I hope that didn't come out wrong (with wearing DL inspired things)! I just meant to say that, before I didn't really get it, and now I do! It's part of the excitement and showing of what you love. I hope no one did an eye roll or took at as rude. That wasn't my intent
